description Situated in one of the most scenic areas on the Oregon coast, Sunset Bay State Park features beautiful sandy beaches protected by towering sea cliffs. The park has 29 full hookup, 34 electrical, 66 individual tent sites and two group tent areas, as well as 8 rustic yurts. MAKE SURE YOUR SITE MEETS YOUR CAMPING NEEDS Before reserving, please become familiar with the particulars of your chosen site, including the size of the tent pad area and the type of equipment that you may bring to the park. importantInformation Remember only one vehicle stay is included with standard camp fees. Only one extra vehicle allowed at each campsite. The nightly Extra Vehicle fee is $7.00. An additional campsite may be rented, if available upon arrival.There is no overflow vehicle parking available at Sunset Bay. Extra vehicle policy strictly enforced. If you reserve a yurt, please look for your access combination in the Security Alerts section of your confirmation letter. There is an $8 reservation fee per site reserved. An $8 transaction fee is charged for any date or site changes made to an existing reservation. *Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the end of the stay will only pay an $8 transaction fee. Reservations for more the five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the beginning of the stay will pay an $8 transaction fee and the nightly rate for each night cancelled. Please be aware that only the person whose name is on the reservation, their designee or the primary occupant may access, change or cancel the reservation. Reservations can be made 24 hours a day, from 1 day to 9 months in advance. Internet reservations become available at midnight. Call center reservations are available Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm at 800-452-5687.
